I love the guitar for many reasons: The guitar has always been there for me, when others were not. Through it I'm able to express my emotions, in ways that I can't do through words. Because of it, I was finally acknowledged for something, and it became a great self-esteem booster. It broadened my musical tastes, the more I got into playing, the more I got into music. The guitar made me love music, and made me appreciate it more. Because of it, I've met a lot of great people, people who I'm glad and fortunate to have talked to and have great conversations with, whether it was about music or everyday life. The guitar always makes me happy, whether I'm playing it, or if it's someone else, it always brings a smile to my face. When I started playing guitar, I did it as a hobby, but it grew into something more, it grew into a passion. I'm glad that it did, I don't know where I would be without it, it's made such a positive impact on my life and I'm thankful for it. -Steven Evans
