If you want to know the meaning of life, it's to be happy. All actions we do is driven to maximize happiness and minimize pain. For example, we educate ourselves to make our lives happier in the long run, we work for money to buy material and immaterial objects that enhance our lives, we maintain our health so we suffer less, and we even perform altruistic acts for the joy that comes with it (and to avoid the pain of shame from selfishness). -Igoptus
