My philosophy on martial arts: "Martial arts isn't really about the competition and fighting- it's about learning respect, discipline, honour and gaining confidence in yourself. The competition and fighting are great- it allows you to test yourself and your abilities in a safe environment but it's by far not the most important aspect. what's most important is using the knowledge you gained which is being kind to others, helping out people when they are in need, and to never brag and show off your martial art abilities unnecessarily." -Chris Ralph
