She is loving, kind, strong, enduring, patient, just, beautiful, divine, compassionate, devoted, faithful, and most importantly she has the gentlest touch that only a mother can give. She is my fortress in my defense, and my cure when weak. When all light has gone, she always returns to light my candle again. In the darkest chambers, she walks in and embraces me like nothing else can. When I feel lifeless, she reminds me that I’m not because life is what she’s giving me. When tears stream down my face, she collects them for me and reminds me that I’m not alone. When I’m in pain, she kisses me and reminds me that she is my strength. When I give up and turn around, she is the first one behind me and points forward because she knows the way. When I fall, she bends her knee in front of me, smiles at me and says My Son; you are strong and wise, rise and be as you were born to be!
