’ve realized I don't actually love God. I have gone to church, praised his name and sang songs. I even felt the Holy Spirit in the sermons. But I never read the Bible anymore. I dread bible class and prayer time even chapel. I don't know why. I thought that when I gave my heart to God this emptiness would be gone…… the truth is I gave my heart to him, took it and never gave it back…… I remember lying to my parents and I used to feel this dark cloud come over me… like a conscious telling me what I was doing was wrong. I started to ignore it and soon it just….went away…..ever since then I have felt this emptiness. I have lost my purity…. everything I ever felt from God is gone……. I live to make it through the day….I breathe cause it hurts to stop….. I eat cause it’s there. I feel my body here on earth just moving around breathing but, my heart…my spirit wants to go somewhere else. I feel nothing…. I used to be scared, now I want the dark.
