The flower now begins to bloom, Its bud is small and bright, The crush has developed to something more, That what you expected way before The rose was first planted. The petals open, its in its prime, But its thorns are growing, The sugary love is mixed with lemon, Maybe its not all heaven But there's love none the less. The withering fate is a choice, Will the thorns harden, Will the bitter taste of hate, Become the dying fate Of the love that once had grown.
