He was a young naive builder. This was his first undertaking but he thought he had the heart for the job. He dutifully started out each day, working long hours trusting his loyalty and hard work would see him through. He carefully tended to mortar with love and affection, knowing it was a finicky process that he needed to get right before he could proceed with the rest. He spent over 2 years laying down the foundation, overcoming many obstacles along the way. His love and dreams for the future giving him strength to continue. Permits were issued in 1997 and work continued. Building a new addition and grander home. Fortitude and long long hours were kept year after year, the layers building upon themselves. It was a fine structure. Passerby would see the happy home with it's room for the growing brood. It seemed ideal with its hanging baskets on the porch and loving laughter from its interior.
