I think of my life as a journey down a sidewalk. It's not a straight path that I can walk right through. It has small cracks. It has weeds that trip me. It has huge holes I have to jump over. Sometimes it goes on for awhile smooth and I enjoy the walk taking in the beauty around me and feeling the sun on my face. A cloudy day has approached and there is a huge pot hole in front of me now that I am trying to figure out how to jump over. It's frustrating, makes me angry and it makes me cry. I need to jump this hole and I know I can but I have to think first. So I am going to sit down and rest for a bit to gather the strength to make that leap because I know in my soul it's going to be the best part of the rest of my journey on my life's sidewalk. -Lisa H.
