Days passed by , while i sat in the corner and looked up the sky. Seeking for an answer and someone to look me in the eye. Waited for someone to hold me and tell me, 'Everything will be alright , as i will always be nearby'. Saw many people on the street who crossed me by, I gave them what I wanted for myself, made sure they never would cry. No matter who the person was, an old friend or someone I just got to know , I treated them all alike and still dont know why, after a while, they always walked by. As more days passed along, i realised and understood why, people wont ever stop and settle by. Because settling down needs courage to rely, which they often would fail to afford. Hence their sentences always ended with a goodbye. Now all that is left to do, is to leave behind the days that I waited by. But unlike others,instead of choosing to walk by, I will rather, on my own fly. -rhea joseph
