(This is just a scribblet I wrote some time ago) The rose of love begins to bloom, its bud is bright, its stalk is straight, and no thorns are seen. The petals open, its in its prime, the furry beginnings of the thorns are all growing, the colour deepens and the stalk stands strong. But then comes the withering fate, the hardened thorns are large and strong, the petals are wilted and dark... And that's the end, and so it ends... But seeds will grow and buds will bloom, love may grow again. No certainty the soil is fertile, no certainty the winds too rough.. But ne'er give up on the growing bud.
