Living in the Dungeon, Yet Again You used to say you loved me You used to say you cared But none of that was ever true Not even you You acted like I was a huge impact on your life, or that’s at least what you delivered to me in your script, but it was just an act and I was played I am a damsel in distressed that was just returned to the dungeon. I used to think you were that knight, who rescued me, but really you deceived me and made the dungeon 10 times scarier. It used to be just empty, but you filled it with darkness and pain, which suffocates me from having the will to escape. I tear till my eyes fill, and I can no longer keep them open. Closing my eyes, the memories we shared flip through my mind. I realize that they were a lie. They were betrayal, and your deceiving heart couldn’t give a damn. So for now I will stay locked in the dungeon waiting to be rescued, although, this time it won’t be from a knight, I will save myself when I have the will. so in time i will be free from th -Marissa Anne Haber
