I really used to think that the only way to achieve world Peace was for everyone in the world to think and believe exactly the same. In my lifetime, I've come to understand that Humanity has been given the wonderful and freeing gifts of Free Will and Free Thought. Without these things, none of us would be able to be true to ourselves and our hearts. Thinking for ourselves is a privilege. I cannot control others, I only have the right to control myself. Others do not have the right to control me. I've come to know that the formula for Peace is to say, "It's ok for you to believe what you want for yourself, as it is ok for me to believe what I want for myself. Let's not overlap those things." -As long as we don't try to force others to think and believe as we do, we keep appropriate boundaries with one another, and we kindly tell them not to force their own beliefs onto us, we can coexist and achieve GREAT Peace.
